American Idol's ratings may be slowly drying up, and Simon Cowell may be packing his bags, but that hasn't stopped the release of a brand new game based on the series.
The game in question is "American Idol Star Experience"; a downloadable PC game that allows players to create an avatar, choose a song, and then have a say in choreography, stage lighting and special effects. Once the show has been put together, players can upload it to their Facebook page so that they're friends can act as those snarly judges.
Have you ever put a photo onto Facebook and had it mocked by friends? Or indeed, mocked any photos your friends have posted? We're sure this title could lead to some public humiliation, but then again, it's no different to those on the show. Why this title isn't simply a Facebook title in the first place makes little sense.
Look out for "American Idol Star Experience" on 26 May, the same day as the Season 9 finale.
